Welcome to Orangetree

Anonymous Emails from “Orangetree Fellowship”

 Dear Homeowners,

You may have recently received emails originating from “orangetreefellowship@proton.me” purportedly from “Orangetree Condo Homeowners” and be wondering who is sending the emails or if there is any legitimacy to the claims being made. Despite the attempt at anonymity, the individual behind these emails is known to the Board of Directors. This person is disgruntled and taking out his frustrations by targeting individual directors and the Board as a whole with defamatory statements and harassing behavior. The claims he is making are false. He is a malignant provocateur intent on sowing discord amongst the membership. Two individuals, apparently acting at his direction, showed up at a Board member’s house to confront the Board member based solely on his false and misleading accusations. Such harassing behavior is not appropriate and will not be tolerated. Any communication intended for the Board of Directors, may be offered during homeowner forum at a Board meeting or transmitted to management. No one should be contacting Board members directly or going to their homes.

One of the defamatory allegations being circulated is that Board members are stealing Association funds. None of the Board members are embezzling money. The “report” he apparently made to the Irvine Police is performative nonsense. The Association’s financial records are audited every year by an outside accounting firm and the Association employs a professional management company that follows all of the standard practices and safeguards in the industry.

Another deceptive rumor being spread by this individual is that the current woodworking project should cost one-third of the estimated price, but he claims this without any actual knowledge of the project or the process. The Board engaged five different reputable contractors and obtained multiple bids all of which were over three million dollars with one over four million. The Board has been planning this woodworking project for two years and has spent countless volunteer hours devoted to this large maintenance project for the benefit of this community. Those homeowners who have attended Board meetings and/or the townhall meeting about the woodwork project are well aware of what has gone into the process. If you are curious about any of what is transpiring in the community or wondering about the specious allegations being circulated via email, the Board encourages you to attend the monthly board meetings and observe how the Board conducts the Association’s business. The Board also wants to clarify

Back Stream Update!

Dear Orange Tree Condominium Members,

We are pleased to provide you with an update regarding the ongoing work on the streams. Horizon has confirmed that all electrical work for the back stream has been successfully completed. In the meantime, Management has reached out to the Association’s approved vendor, who maintains the community streams, to review the approved proposals and determine which tasks can be initiated immediately.

Additionally, Management, in collaboration with the Board, will continue to work closely with Horizon and Southern California Edison (SCE) to address the electrical work for the middle stream. We are committed to ensuring that all work is completed as efficiently and promptly as possible to enhance the community’s infrastructure.

We truly appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we make progress on these important improvements.

Thank you again for your cooperation!
